About · Manufacturing

A 2,000 m² clean shed, one cast line, and a lot of obsession.

Walk our plant in Depaliya and the first thing you notice is the silence — the second is the air. We run our extrusion under a 3-micron dust-filtered, air-cooled clean shed because hygiene customers' end products demand it.

Plant narrative

A tour, in words.

Walk into the Depaliya plant and the first thing you notice is the air — restricted, filtered, cool.

Past the entry vestibule, the cast extrusion line runs the length of the clean shed, fed by gravity-metered resin dosing.

The MIRAFLEX II flexo press sits in its own zone, with controlled lighting for press-side color verification.

The QC lab is glass-walled along the production aisle so operators and quality engineers see each other through every shift.

Plant photography is planned for a future content phase. Until then, this narrative is what we want every customer to read.

Process flow

From resin pellet to packed roll, in eight steps.

1

Resin in

Polyethylene pellets are dried and metered.

2

Extrusion

The melt is cast onto a chilled roll at controlled draw ratio.

3

Stretching

Calendar rolls stretch the film, creating microvoids around dispersed CaCO₃ for breathable grades.

4

Cooling

Microvoids open into interconnected pores.

5

Embossing

Optional hot rolls press micro or deep patterns into the surface.

6

Corona

Optional surface treatment for downstream printing or lamination.

7

QC

Roll-by-roll WVTR, tensile and defect-camera inspection.

8

Slit & pack

Cut to width, labelled, palletized.
